My name is Charles Richard Loverin. Charlie to my family and friends. Thank you for visiting my page! I'm excited about all the new challenges and adventures that will be coming my way as I finish high school and move forward to college.
my interests: tennis (varsity starter 3 years), community service (project leader), business club (president), art (sculpture particularly), environmental science, ping pong club co-president, friends... and my FAMILY
my personality: driven, upbeat, enthusiastic, creative, helpful, hardworking, funny, goofy, adventurous
my family & where i'm from: I have one older sister, Addie (20), and one younger brother, Jake (14). My parents are divorced, which has brought it's challenges, but all in all.... I am lucky to have two families and two houses instead of ONE! We live in a small coastal town named Marshfield - 30 miles south of Boston and a stones throw from some of the most beautiful, sandy beaches on the South Shore of Massachusetts.
why me: I love to learn. I'm up for any challenge. I work hard at everything I do, and am kind and fair. I love to meet new people, try new things and extend myself to make my dreams a reality. I am centered and focused. When things don't turn out as expected, wanted or let's be honest... a disaster... I dust myself off, look at it from a new perspective and usually end up with a result that was even better than the initial plan! I'm a self advocating person- though I am helpful and easygoing - I won't get lost in the shuffle and I won't lose sight of who I am..... Charlie Loverin.

my portfolio is a compilation of multi-media artwork -with a sincere focus on the environment and using recycled materials. encompassing Sculture, drawing, painting, photography, and claY -produced for school, THE AP ART EXAM and PERSONAL enjoyment. mostly featuring my work that has been selected and showcased in art shows and received awards.

Freshman Convocatin Speech
I was honored as the one Senior at BC High to speak to the incoming class of '26 this September (2022) at our Freshman Convocation. I was tasked to write a speech and deliver it to an audience of over 1000 students and their families, faculty, our school President, and other Senior Mentors with four days notice. I hope you can take the time to watch - I am very proud of this!
